Does genetic memory of the Adyghe gene pool composition perpetuate itself? Genetic portraits of Adyghe tribes drawn from the new data about Y-chromosome polymorphisms

چکیده
The purpose of the study is to evaluate possibility preserving genetic memory original architectonics Adygeans gene pool by studying modern pools ten clan groups. Materials and methods. Ten tribal populations as well Ubykhs (total N=616) were studied a unified informative panel SNP-markers Y-chromosome (59 SNP 17 STR). Genetic portraits each population created, their position in multidimensional space was evaluated based on data 34 identified Y-haplogroups. For most characteristic haplogroups, cartographic analysis performed phylogenetic networks created. Results. Four haplogroups found all populations, making up three quarters general pool: G2-YY1215(43%), R1a-M198* (13%), G2-YY9632 (9%), J2-M172* (7%). In scaling distinguished clusters: "Western" united Shapsugs Ubykhs; "Central" – Abadzekhs, Temirgoevs, Khatukaevs; "Eastern" Ygerukhaevs, Kabardins Adygea. Bzhedugs, now conglomerate various tribes, occupy precisely an intermediate between 'Western' 'Central' clusters. Mamkhegs Besleneys not included any clusters, but joined "Eastern cluster" results other multivariate atlas variability revealed two main trends variability: for haplogroup G2-YY1215 trend frequency decrease from west east (from 82% 13% Adygea), opposite small west. Conclusion. It shown first time that dominant whole, practically Its east, disappearing already Ossetians. allow us consider "marking" Adyghe population. clusters relative correspond historical ethnological reconstruct contours initial Adygeans. indicates presence common Adygean "prapopulation" groups, which existed about 3000 years ago demographic growth 1500-2000 ago.

Paleo-Balkan and Slavic Contributions to the Genetic Pool of Moldavians: Insights from the Y Chromosome
Moldova has a rich historical and cultural heritage, which may be reflected in the current genetic makeup of its population. To date, no comprehensive studies exist about the population genetic structure of modern Moldavians. To bridge this gap with respect to paternal lineages, we analyzed 37 binary and 17 multiallelic (STRs) polymorphisms on the non-recombining portion of the Y chromosome in ...

15 صفحه اولOrigins and genetic diversity of New World Creole cattle: inferences from mitochondrial and Y chromosome polymorphisms.
The ancestry of New World cattle was investigated through the analysis of mitochondrial and Y chromosome variation in Creoles from Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Paraguay and the United States of America. Breeds that influenced the Creoles, such as Iberian native, British and Zebu, were also studied. Creoles showed high mtDNA diversity (H = 0.984 +/- 0.003) with a total of 78 haplotypes, and the Eu...
